B&G Foods launches sugar-free preserves with fiber

PARSIPPANY, N.J. — B&G Foods has launched Polaner Sugar Free Preserves with Fiber.
"Consumers told us they loved the low calories and great taste of our Polaner Sugar Free Preserves, but they wanted more nutritional value with fiber at the top of their wish list," said Marvin Schwinder, director of marketing. "Everyone at B&G Foods is excited to offer this new product line to the jam, jelly and preserves category with the added nutrition benefits it provides. Initial retailer and consumer response to this product has been tremendous."
The product line is available in strawberry, seedless raspberry, apricot and seedless blackberry preserves along with orange marmalade and concord grape jelly.
The suggested retail price is $2.99 for a 13.5-oz jar.
