Biothera forms scientific advisory board

EAGAN, MINN. — Biothera has put together a board of scientific advisers to counsel the company on research and development efforts relating to its immune health ingredients, including Wellmune WGP. The board includes:

●Roger Clemens, a faculty member of the University of Southern California’s School of Pharmacy and a member of the 2010 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee;

●Bill Sears, an author of more than 40 books on child care and an associate clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine;

●Michael T. Murray, an author of more than 30 books on health and nutrition and a member of the board of regents at Bastyr University in Seattle;

●Major General (retired) John Parker, former assistant surgeon general of the U.S. Army and currently an adviser to Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va.; and

●Paul Clayton, chair of the Forum on Food and Health at Royal Society of Medicine in the United Kingdom.
