Hybrid sports, energy beverage introduced

TEMPE, ARIZ. — Shadow Beverage and Snacks, a company competing in the functional food and beverage market, has partnered with Ironclad Performance Wear Corp. to introduce Ironclad Energy and Hydration. The company is marketing the beverage as a hybrid between a sports and energy beverage.

Ingredients in the beverage include taurine, caffeine, electrolytes and vitamins B6 and B12.

The new product is available in three flavors: triple citrus, goji berry and sugar-free black and blue with black currant. The suggested retail price is $2.39 per 16-oz can and it is currently available regionally in the United States.
