Korengel to new post at ConAgra Foods

OMAHA — Jeff Korengel has joined ConAgra Foods, Inc. as vice-president of process engineering for research, quality and innovation (R.Q.I.). In his new role, Mr. Korengel will partner with supply chain and R.Q.I. leadership to help develop strategies that ensure the development and execution of engineering-related programs.

Prior to joining ConAgra, Mr. Korengel was vice-president of worldwide beverage process development and new product commercialization for PepsiCo, Inc. Earlier, he worked in various roles at PepsiCo across new product commercialization, manufacturing technologies, process development and package development for Pepsi Cola North America, Pepsi/Lipton Partnership, Tropicana North America and Gatorade North America. Before joining PepsiCo he was a plant engineer at DuPont.

Mr. Korengel received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master of business administration degree from the University of South Florida.
