Sensient builds flavor facility in Costa Rica

MILWAUKEE — Sensient Technologies Corp. has opened a facility in Alajuela, Costa Rica, that will serve as the base of Central American and Caribbean operations. At the facility, product application teams will staff laboratories for beverage and dairy applications and savory flavors. The facility also includes a quality control laboratory.

A Sensient business office and a culinary center for flavorists have opened at the site. Sales personnel and flavor technologists will be on site to serve customers manufacturing beverages, savory foods, dairy products and sweets and snacks. Sensient now has more than 70 locations that provide flavor and color applications tailored for local markets in 30 countries.
