Sensient introduces natural platform

INDIANAPOLIS — Sensient Flavors and Fragrances Group has introduced a product platform called Sensient Natural Origins that features its global extraction capabilities. The platform includes the previously named Templar line of natural botanical extracts. The portfolio includes citrus, herbs and spices, vanilla, tea, and floral. The products are suitable for use in such applications as dairy, savory, sweet and beverage.
“With an enhanced R.&D. focus and expanded manufacturing capabilities, Sensient offers its customers increasingly selective extracts that give the natural flavor and aroma profiles of the original botanic material, offering food and beverage manufacturers advanced flavor systems that can deliver the authentic taste of the botanical form from which it is derived,” said Nicholas Evans, business development manager for Sensient Natural Origins. “Additionally, Sensient Natural Origins addresses growing consumer interest in product provenance and ingredient simplicity.” FBN
