Fiber One adds 90 Calorie Chewy Bars

MINNEAPOLIS — General Mills, Inc. has extended its family of Fiber One products with Fiber One 90 Calorie Chewy Bars. Each bar contains 90 calories, 5 grams of fiber and 2.5 grams of fat “to help dieters feel full and stick to their diet without compromising taste,” according to General Mills. The new bars are available in two varieties: chocolate and chocolate peanut butter.
“Fiber One 90 Calorie Chewy Bars offer a simple, gratifying and delicious way for dieters to stick to their diet,” said Jim Wilson, marketing manager for Fiber One Chewy Bars. “With distinct and popular flavors, including chocolate and chocolate peanut butter, dieting has never been easier or tasted this good.”
General Mills also offers Fiber One Chewy Bars in six varieties that range from 130 calories for the oats and apple streusel flavor to 150 calories for the oats and peanut butter flavor. The regular Fiber One Chewy Bars are 1.4-oz, which compares with the 0.82-oz 90 Calorie Chewy Bars.
Fiber One 90 Calorie Chewy Bars are available nationwide in 5-count boxes at a suggested retail price of $3.59.
