Eckrich launches smoked sausage products

CHICAGO — Eckrich has introduced new Angus Beef Rope Smoked Sausage and Angus Link Smoked Sausage products.
“These new Angus smoked sausage products provide retailers an opportunity to generate additional sales growth from their refrigerated meat cases,” said Charles Gitkin, vice-president of marketing innovation and R.&D. for the John Morrell Food Group. “Both products deliver that rich, premium Angus beef taste consumers now crave.”
The products are made with 100% Angus beef and are available in 12-oz packages. The company also announced three more additions to the Eckrich “Naturally Hardwood Smoked Sausage” line that include two new varieties of pre-sliced, skinless smoked sausage and turkey Smok-Y breakfast links.
