Cadbury to launch Trident Vitality

PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Cadbury is expanding its Trident brand with the Trident Vitality line.

The new line has three varieties — Vigorate, a citrus and strawberry flavor with vitamin C; Rejuve, a blend of mint and white tea; and Awaken, a peppermint flavor with ginseng.

“Based on research, we found that many consumers were looking for unique new flavors that fit with their wellness lifestyle,” said Kelly Bivens, brand manager for Trident. “We always try to respond to consumers needs, and so far the response has been terrific. Vitality has tested as one of our best-tasting gums to date, and we are very excited to bring it to our consumers nationwide.”

The new products will be available beginning in January in select stores with a national rollout in February for a suggested retail price of $1.29 for a single-pack and $2.89 for a three-pack.
