NEW BERLIN, N.Y. — Chobani Greek Yogurt has introduced a new line of yogurt for children called Chobani Champions.
The 2% Chobani Champions line will be sold in 4-oz cups to better accommodate a child-size appetite, according to the company. With all of the same nutritional benefits as adult-size 100% natural Chobani products, each cup of Champions features 10% of the daily calcium requirement with five live and active cultures, including three probiotics and two times more protein than other yogurts. The Champions line will be offered in four flavor combinations: StrawNana, VerryBerry and HoneyNana, as well as Chocolate.
“At Chobani, we’re committed to living the ‘Nothing But Good’ philosophy,” said Hamdi Ulukaya, chief executive officer and founder of AgroFarma, Chobani's parent company. “We take our role as America’s No. 1 Greek yogurt brand very seriously and firmly believe good nutrition begins in childhood. We’re pleased to give parents a healthy option for children, including the fun and tastiness kids enjoy.”
Chobani Champions is available in four-pack multi-packs and has a suggested retail price of $3.99.
