Jamba Juice, Inventure launch smoothies for retail

EMERYVILLE, CALIF. — Jamba Juice Co. and The Inventure Group, Inc. are launching Jamba All Natural Smoothies, a line of make-at-home smoothies to be available for sale at grocery stores primarily in the Western United States.

“We’re introducing a unique, better-for-you smoothie solution for retailers who want to capitalize on the $2.6 billion made-to-order smoothie category and the health and wellness oriented shoppers looking for simple solutions to eating healthier,” said Steve Sklar, senior vice-president of marketing for The Inventure Group. “Additionally, we now have a product that provides our grocery and warehouse club partners’ an opportunity to create a new usage occasion that draws consumers to their stores.”

The smoothies will be available in Razzmatazz, Mango-a-Go-Go and Strawberries Wild varieties for a suggested retail price of between $2.99 and $3.29 for an 8-oz package that makes two 8-oz servings.
