CINCINNATI — Twin River Technologies Natural Ingredients, a lipid technologies company based in Cincinnati, has changed its name to FINA L.L.C. and named Josipa Paska as chief executive officer.

The name change comes as a result of a transfer of company ownership in December 2009 to Felda IFFCO Sdn Bhd, based in Malaysia and a joint venture between the Felda Group of Malaysia and IFFCO Group of United Arab Emirates. FINA is an acronym for Felda IFFCO North America. FINA will provide molecular lipid modification technologies for industrial and consumer applications.

Ms. Paska previously was vice-president/general manager of Health and Wellness for Twin River Technologies Natural Ingredients. As c.e.o. of FINA, she will be in charge of focusing production facilities and oleochemical expertise in the development of specialty oils and fats for the food, confectionery and nutrition industries; sucrose polyesters for food, cosmetics and green industrial applications; and a range of omega-3 fatty acid concentrates as nutritional supplements and pharmaceutical applications.

“FINA is uniquely positioned as a specialized processor of edible oils and fats and oleochemical products to invigorate the North American fats and oils industry,” Ms. Paska said.

The company’s facility also has the ability to produce water-like, high-stability biodiesel.
