ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Pinnacle Food Group L.L.C. has informed the New York State Department of Labor that it will close its Birds Eye corporate headquarters in Rochester and move to New Jersey.

According to a Feb. 26 filing with the N.Y.S.D.O.L., Pinnacle said it will close the Rochester facility in July and plans to lay off 205 employees between May 31 and Dec. 31.

Cherry Hill, N.J.-based Pinnacle Food acquired frozen food distributor Birds Eye in December for $1.3 billion. In addition to the Rochester headquarters, Birds Eye operates a 255,000-square-foot plant and warehouse in Fulton, N.Y.
