BOULDER, COLO. — Rudi’s Organic Bakery, Inc., the nation’s largest certified-organic bread brand, said it will launch the Rudi’s Gluten Free Bakery brand. The line, which will feature an original sandwich bread, multigrain bread and cinnamon raisin bread, will be available beginning in July.
“We’ve been passionate about baking better breads for families for more than 30 years and the launch of a gluten-free line is the perfect extension of our commitment to offering customers the opportunity to truly enjoy bread,” said Doug Radi, vice-president of marketing for Rudi’s Organic Bakery. “Our master bakers have worked with experts in the gluten-free industry to make sure customers with celiac disease and gluten tolerances can once again take pleasure in eating a product that has the same great taste, texture and appearance of regular sandwich bread.”
In addition to the product launch, Rudi’s earlier this month unveiled a redesigned brand and packaging featuring bright colors, callouts to organic ingredients and eye-catching graphics.
“We’ve revitalized our brand so it reflects our long heritage of doing the right thing,” Mr. Radi said. “At the heart of it all, we believe good health leads to happiness, and we’ve changed our packaging and communications to reflect a bright and optimistic future.”
