Steve Lacey joins MGPI in engineering role

ATCHISON, KAS. — Steve Lacey has been named maintenance engineer at MGP Ingredients, Inc. In his new role, Mr. Lacey will be responsible for analyzing and improving MGPI’s preventive/predictive maintenance system, completing criticality assessments, performing failure analyses on failed equipment and then developing and implementing corrective actions.

Mr. Lacey most recently spent 10 years in various positions with the Pillsbury Co. business of General Mills, Inc. in New Albany, Ind. Prior to General Mills, he was a maintenance supervisor for Sara Lee Corp. in Little Rock, Ark., a maintenance supervisor for Kraft Foods Inc. in Woodstock, Ill., and a maintenance shift lead/maintenance mechanic at Tyson Foods Inc. in Fayetteville, Ark.

He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
