NexCen begins pretzel mix production in Atlanta

NEW YORK — NexCen Brands, Inc. said it has begun producing dry pretzel mix at its facility in Atlanta. NexCen said it uses the mix, a proprietary recipe, to create fresh pretzel dough on site at Pretzelmaker franchise locations. The Atlanta facility also produces cookie dough.
“We are pleased to have commenced the production of Pretzelmaker’s dry mix at our expanded manufacturing facility,” said Kenneth J. Hall, chief executive officer. “Added to the earlier launch of our on-site innovation lab, we are now able to offer additional support for our franchisees and to increase revenue generated from the facility.”
In addition to Pretzelmaker, NexCen owns four other quick-service restaurant franchise concepts: Great American Cookies, MaggieMoo’s, Marble Slab Creamery and Pretzel Time.
