BROOMFIELD, COLO. — Silk is transitioning its Silk Unsweetened product to an “organic only” variety after previously being offered in both organic and natural varieties. According to Silk, the move underscores the company’s commitment to sourcing soybeans for all its products from North America.

“We are proud to make a change that allows us to continue sourcing beans from North America,” said Craig Shiesley, vice-president of Silk. “At the same time, it’s exciting to continue offering organic options to consumers who want them.”

Silk said it will phase out the natural variety of Silk Unsweetened by the end of the year, but will continue to offer Silk Original and Silk Vanilla in both organic and natural options.
