Caravan hires consumer insights manager

LENEXA, KAS. — Marge O’Brien has joined Caravan Ingredients as consumer insights manager. In her new role, Ms. O’Brien will be responsible for developing products and programs, as well as gathering intelligence and tracking consumer trends in support of Caravan’s innovation process.

Prior to joining Caravan, Ms. O’Brien was vice-president of client solutions at Information Resources, Inc. (now known as SymphonyIRI Group). Earlier, she held a variety of executive positions working with baking companies, packaged goods companies and market research firms.

“Marge has a depth of experience in market and consumer research that is unparalleled,” said Jim Wells, director of commercial insights at Caravan. “She has been involved in new product development and ideation her entire career, bringing along with her the vast skills needed to elevate the Caravan Ingredients Consumer Insights Group, as well as category management best practices moving forward.”
