IRVING, TEXAS — Hostess Brands, Inc. has introduced a line of muffins that provide 3 grams of fiber and contain 150 calories per serving. The muffins, which are baked with whole grains, fruit, chocolate and nuts, are available in three varieties: blueberry, banana nut and chocolate chip.
“As consumers continue to look for convenient breakfast and snack options to start their days off right — especially families stretched for time as they start the new school year — Hostess’ new line of muffins delivers the great taste and convenience that consumers expect from Hostess with additional nutritional benefits,” said Mike Touhey, vice-president of snack marketing for Hostess Brands.
The muffins are available in a 10.5-oz package that includes six individually wrapped muffins.
