New conditioner keeps tortillas from sticking

LENEXA, KAS. — Caravan Ingredients has developed Tortilla Suave, a conditioner that offers the benefits of extended shelf life and the ability to combat sticking situations associated with the production of tortillas.
Recommended use levels are 1% to 2% based on flour. The conditioner may be added on top of existing tortilla formulas to reduce sticking, improve softness and increase rollability.
Tortilla Suave contains no hydrogenated fats and may be used as part of a formula labeled as 0 grams trans fat.
