GLENDALE, CALIF. — Wonka, a Nestle USA brand, has introduced Whipped Wingers, candies the company describes as aerated gummies that have a “soft, fluffy” texture. Nestle is marketing the new item as a better-for-you treat, because the Whipped Wingers are made with 25% fruit juice and other natural ingredients.
The new confectionery items come in bug-like shapes and are available in watermelon, orange, pineapple and tropical punch flavors. A 5.5-oz package of the Whipped Wingers has a suggested retail price of $1.79.
