New blend maintains color in paprika, spices

DES MOINES, IOWA – Kemin Food Technologies has launched Fortium TR30, a liquid blend of plant-derived ingredients that delays oxidation to maintain color in paprika and red-colored spice blends. Fortium TR30 is a combination of Kemin’s proprietary rosemary extract and tocopherols.
“Fortium TR30 was formulated to be the optimal alternative to traditional synthetic antioxidants,” said Will Schroeder, director of research and development for the Food Technologies division of Kemin Industries. “Our liquid product offers a more cost-effective, consumer-friendly label option that is easy to use.”
