BASF appoints two North American distributors

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — The BASF Corp. has named Brenntag Specialties, Inc., and the Horn Co. to distribute the company’s human nutrition ingredients in North America. The agreement will take effect on Jan. 1, 2012.

“We chose two companies with a long history of specialized industry expertise and a proven track record with numerous other BASF business groups,” said Frank Bergonzi, director of corporate distribution in North America for the BASF Corp. “Brenntag Specialties will serve customers in Canada and the eastern United States. Customers in the western states will work now with Horn Co.”
