Pinnacle hires Boever as executive v.p., c.c.o.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Christopher J. Boever has been named executive vice-president and chief customer officer of Pinnacle Foods Group L.L.C. In his new position, Mr. Boever will report directly to Bob Gamgort, chief executive officer, and lead the sales force and broker organization for the company’s U.S. retail organization.
“Chris brings to Pinnacle extensive sales retail leadership experience and a strong track record of driving growth,” Mr. Gamgort said.
Mr. Boever has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of sales management, most recently as senior vice-president of sales at ConAgra Foods, Inc., where he led the direct and broker sales organization for the Consumer Division. He joined ConAgra Foods in 2007 as vice-president of sales planning and advanced through positions of increasing responsibility, including both planning and operations strategy across a portfolio of frozen, grocery, refrigerated and snack food brands. Prior to ConAgra Foods, he worked at Hormel Foods from 1991 to 2007, holding such positions as vice-president of sales strategy and vice-president of sales, business development.
Mr. Boever received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin.
