Hillshire Farm adds to turkey sausage line

DOWNERS GROVE, ILL. — The Sara Lee Corp.’s Hillshire Farm sausage brand has introduced two new flavors: turkey pepper jack and turkey Polska Kielbasa smoked sausage links. The two flavors are lower fat options, with the turkey pepper jack having 60% less fat and the turkey Polska Kielbasa having 70% less fat than beef or pork smoked sausages.
“Americans continue to look for easy ways to make small changes to their diet without compromising on flavor or taste,” said Kristin Kroepfl, director, Hillshire Farm. “With grilling season officially here, the new Hillshire Farm turkey pepper pack and Polska Kielbasa smoked sausage links offer consumers two great-tasting, lower-fat options that are perfect for any barbecue or outdoor celebration.”
