ORRVILLE, OHIO — The J.M. Smucker Co. has decreased the list price for the majority of its coffee products sold in the United States by an average of 6%. The products primarily consist of those sold under the Folgers, Dunkin’ Donuts and Folgers Gourmet Selections brand names.

The Dunkin’ Donuts brand is licensed to The J.M. Smucker Co. for packaged coffee products sold in retail channels such as grocery stores, mass merchandisers, club stores and drug stores. The announced price decrease does not pertain to Dunkin’ Donuts coffee or other products for sale in Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.

Declines in the green coffee futures market drove the price decrease, Smucker said. Company executives will answer investor-related, follow-up questions Aug. 18 during a conference call concerning first-quarter earnings.
