Eric Foss to retire from PepsiCo

PURCHASE, N.Y. — Eric J. Foss, chief executive officer of the Pepsi Beverages Co., is retiring from PepsiCo, Inc. effective Dec. 9.

“Eric has been a key member of the PepsiCo leadership team and has been a respected leader across global beverages for many years,” said Indra Nooyi, chairman and c.e.o. of PepsiCo, Inc. “We are grateful to Eric for his willingness to stay with us for nearly two years to ensure a successful integration, and we are now well positioned for the future. His deep operating experience and business savvy have been great assets to our company, and we wish Eric all the best in his future endeavors.”

Mr. Foss has held his current position since February 2010 when PepsiCo merged with its North American bottling operations. Prior to that, he was chairman and c.e.o. of Pepsi Bottling Group. He was named head of Pepsi Beverages Co. to help integrate the bottling operations into PepsiCo. He will return to a senior leadership role of a public company.
