Heinz Dip & Squeeze hits retail shelves

PITTSBURGH – The Heinz Dip & Squeeze ketchup is now available at the retail level nationwide, Pittsburgh-based H.J. Heinz Co. said Sept. 19. Consumers may use the packet two ways, either by peeling back the label for dipping or by tearing the top to squeeze the ketchup onto foods. Each package provides three times more ketchup than the traditional Heinz ketchup packet.
“Consumer demand for this product has been tremendous, as there is a universal need for convenient, portable packaging,” said Noel Geoffroy, vice-president – Heinz Brands. “We are thrilled to help consumers make it easier and more fun to dip or squeeze Heinz ketchup no matter where they are.”
The product is available in packs of 10 for a suggested retail price of $1.99.
Heinz Dip & Squeeze ketchup made its food service debut in March. More than 220 million packages have been shipped to restaurants since then.
