Leadership changes at Mizkan Americas

MOUNT PROSPECT, ILL. — Several organizational changes have been announced within the North American, European and Border Foods business units at Mizkan Americas, a condiment manufacturer. Randy Clark has been named chairman of the company’s Border Foods advisory board. Mr. Clark recently retired from the position of president and chief executive officer of Border Foods.

Michael Smith has been promoted to executive vice-president of sales for Border Foods. Bob Gats is now general manager of Border Foods.

Dennis Dedmond has been promoted to executive vice-president of marketing for Mizkan Europe. He assumes the overall profit and loss responsibility for the business unit.

Matthew Moore has been named senior vice-president of food ingredients. He is responsible for Border Foods’ portfolio of food ingredient sales in addition to the food ingredient sales of Mizkan Americas.

Tom Egan will lead the Border Foods manufacturing facility in Deming, N.M., as senior vice-president of operations.

Tom Baker has been promoted to vice-president and group controller of Mizkan EuroAmericas and is responsible for the accounting functions of all three business units.
