BOLINGBROOK, ILL. — Quantum Foods has opened an innovation center located on the company’s campus in Bolingbrook, Ill.

The innovation center will help Quantum Foods to develop, customize and process proteins in different ways to meet exact customer specifications. It also impacts the company’s total protein product offerings and its ability to adapt them to mass production.

“Investing in the innovation center permits Quantum Foods to further develop its unique capabilities in providing protein food service products and solutions to our customers,” said Edward Bleka, chief executive officer and founder. “By expanding our research and development, we have the facilities, talent and experience to work closely and quickly with customers and prospects to formulate and test new protein products. We are dramatically decreasing the time to market for new food service products and getting them to consumers in weeks versus months or even years.”

The center has 8,000 square feet and includes a gourmet kitchen and executive dining and conference room.
