Ethical drinks gaining popularity

NEW YORK — According to Datamonitor’s Productscan, there is an increasing number of ethical drinks being introduced to the market.
These products may be either carbon neutral, ethically packaged or have a charitable marketing platform.
Examples of new products include Acute Fruit 100% Juice Energy Drink from The Monarch Beverage Co. This product was launched in partnership with Carbonfund.org to raise awareness and reduce carbon emissions.
Blue Lake Citrus Products has introduced Noble 100% Pure All Natural Juice that is packaged in a bottle made from all-natural renewable resources.
PurBlue Beverages has launched Give Natural Spring Water, which donates 10c to the charitable cause of the consumer’s choice for every bottle sold. Consumers may decide what cause to support by selecting one of three colors of bottles. The causes include children, women with breast cancer and the environment.
