OAK BROOK, ILL. — McDonald’s Corp. on Dec. 10 said it will begin selling five breakfast items for $1 beginning in January. Starting next month, the world’s largest hamburger chain will offer a Sausage McMuffin, a sausage burrito, a sausage biscuit, a small coffee and a hash brown, each for $1. The restaurant chain had offered the menu in select markets for the past several months, and with the national rollout it now has a breakfast menu to complement its regular dollar menu, which it launched in 2003. The regular dollar menu has eight items each priced at a $1.
