Sargento Foods Inc. names two to new sales posts

PLYMOUTH, WIS. — Sargento Foods Inc. has promoted Chuck Zielski and Mark Comerford to new director of sales positions within the company’s food service division.
Mr. Zielski, 49, joined Sargento in 1995 as a national account manager in food service. He was later promoted to senior national account manager.
Prior to joining Sargento he worked as a national account manager for C.F. Sauer Food Service. Earlier, he was with Holsum Foods and Superior Coffee and Foods.
He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Mr. Comerford, 41, will be responsible for direct sales for U.S. food service chains, as well as divisional administrative management, sales support and international sales and development.
Mr. Comerford joined Sargento in 1998 as a national account manager for the food ingredient division. He later held a similar post with the food service division, and was promoted to international sales manager for that division.
Prior to joining Sargento, he worked in direct sales for two Midwest companies as a sales manager.
He received a bachelor’s degree in natural resources and forestry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
