Pettie to head dairy unit at ConAgra Foods Inc.

OMAHA — ConAgra Foods Inc. has named Mark Pettie as president of the company’s dairy business.
Mr. Pettie, 49, spent 22 years with Kraft Foods Inc./General Foods, where he most recently was executive vice-president and general manager of Kraft’s $1.2 billion Coffee division. He also held several other leadership roles with Kraft, including executive vice-president and general manager, Enhancers division; vice-president of category sales management and strategy; and vice-president and general manager, Pollio Italian Cheese.
"Mark’s extensive leadership experience in the packaged foods industry will be an asset to our dairy business and all of ConAgra Foods," said Dean Hollis, executive vice-president of Retail Products. "I’m confident Mark will drive growth across our dairy portfolio by taking our already popular brands, such as Reddi-wip, Egg Beaters, Parkay and Fleischmann’s, to the next level with both our customers and consumers."
Mr. Pettie received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a master’s degree in business administration from Cornell University.
