MADISON, WIS. — Danisco USA Inc. on Thursday broke ground on a new 19,200-square-foot expansion at its facility in Madison. Danisco said the added space will accommodate an ultra-cold storage facility and packaging operations for frozen dairy cultures.
"This new addition will remove existing bottlenecks and significantly expand our culture capacity at the Madison facility, allowing us to meet the demands of the dairy industry for starter cultures and the rapid growth in probiotics," said Rod Dahlen, plant manager.
