OAKLAND, CALIF. — Haagen-Dazs, a division of Nestle, has extended its Five brand with the introduction of a lemon flavor. The Five brand, which taps into the simple labeling trend, features only five ingredients, including milk, eggs, cream, sugar and lemon.
The brand made its nationwide debut in early 2009 and, in addition to the lemon flavor, is available in flavors such as milk chocolate, passion fruit, vanilla bean, coffee, ginger, mint, strawberry and caramel.
Available in the freezer section of supermarkets nationwide, the new Five flavor has a suggested retail price $4.29 for a 14-oz carton.
