Dean seeks buyer for Wisconsin business

DALLAS – Dean Foods Co. is seeking a buyer for its milk processing, selling, marketing and distribution business in Waukesha, Wis. The company agreed to sell the plant and related business as part of a March 29 settlement agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice and the states of Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan.

The divestiture includes the 170,000-square-foot fluid dairy processing facility and equipment, the Golden Guernsey and La Vaca Bonita brands, and other related assets.
