Blue Bunny brand rolling out new products in March

LE MARS, IOWA — Wells Enterprises, Inc., owner of the Blue Bunny ice cream brand, is introducing several new products during March. New products include no sugar added ice cream options, a premium line in partnership with Cadbury chocolate and two new cake and ice cream flavors.

Marketed under the Sweet Freedom brand, the no sugar added products have 150 calories or less, 8 grams of fat or less and 30 grams of carbohydrates or less. Product formats included in the line are ice cream, ice cream bars, fudge bars and ice cream cones.

Wells Enterprises is also partnering with Cadbury chocolate, a Kraft Foods Inc. brand, to introduce the Cadbury Ice Cream Bar. Flavors included in the new line are “Caramello,” double chocolate, vanilla chocolate and chocolate almond.

The two new cake and ice cream flavors are carrot cake and coffee cake.
