Save on peppermint flavor costs

North American Mint Oil Blends and Global Mint Oil Blends offer a solution to increases in peppermint prices. The blends join the EleMints brand of the A.M. Todd Co., Kalamazoo, Mich.
The North American Mint Oil Blends are proprietary combinations of Mentha piperita (peppermint) and a new variety of Mentha canadensis, both of which are grown in North America. The blends exhibit odor and flavor profile characteristics typical of Mentha piperita.
"Given the recent dramatic increases in North American peppermint prices, these products developed from our plant science research program give A.M. Todd’s key clients 100% North American, non-G.M.O. alternatives that offer lower costs as well as availability," said Ray Hughes, president of A.M. Todd.
The Global Mint Oil Blends take advantage of A.M. Todd’s presence in the Indian market for more than 10 years. The products offer cost-effective peppermint profiles to companies not exclusively focused on the North American varieties.
