AIB International to host 'how to' food safety seminars

MANHATTAN, KAS. — Later this summer AIB International will hold a series of "how to" seminars to assist with the development and implementation of food safety programs.
Each seminar covers the justification, development, implementation and verification aspects of an essential plant program. Among the topics to be discussed are principles of cleaning and sanitation, elements of a chemical control program, and developing allergen control strategies and procedures.
"These seminars provide a great learning opportunity to anyone responsible for implementing and verifying written programs," AIB International said. "Meeting the challenges of developing and managing these programs, with reduced resources, has become a way of life."
The seminars will be held July 10-12 at the Four Points Sheraton at O’Hare in Chicago and Aug. 21-23 at the Sheraton Gateway hotel in Atlanta.
