ZURICH, SWITZERLAND — Frederic Pflanz has been named chief financial officer at Aryzta AG, effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Mr. Pflanz joins Aryzta from Maxingvest Group, where he was an executive board member. Prior to Maxingvest, Mr. Pflanz held a number of roles, including c.f.o. and chief operating officer, with the Remy-Cointreau Group. He also had a number of senior positions at L’Oreal Group between 1992 and 2010, working extensively across Europe and Asia.
“Frederic’s proven career in the global consumer products sector combined with his extensive finance experience will add significant expertise and capability to our management team,” said Gary McGann, chairman of Aryzta. “His appointment marks another important milestone for the group as we build the senior executive team to stabilize the business and, in time, to deliver increased performance and growth.”
