Utz Quality Foods has appointed three industry veterans to its executive leadership team.
 

HANOVER, PA. — Three C.P.G. veterans are joining the executive leadership team of Utz Quality Foods, L.L.C.

Thomas Flocco, Utz Quality Foods

Thomas Flocco has been named president and chief operating officer of Utz. In his new role, he will be responsible for executing Utz’s strategy while managing the day-to-day operations, the company said. Before joining Utz, Mr. Flocco was an operating partner, chairman and chief executive officer with several private-equity backed companies. Before that, Mr. Flocco spent nine years with Fortune Brands, six of which he was president and c.e.o. of Beam Suntory. He also spent eight years with McKinsey & Co. as a partner in their consumer practice.

Mark Schreiber, Utz Quality Foods

Mark Schreiber joins Utz as executive vice-president and chief customer officer. In this position, he will focus his efforts on the sales teams and distributor partners and customers as well as oversee marketing across the brand portfolio. Mr. Schreiber was most recently senior vice-president of sales and distribution for Pepperidge Farm, a position he held for more than nine years.

Jay Thompson, Utz Quality Foods

Jay Thompson has been named executive vice-president and chief financial officer of Utz. In this new position, he will assume leadership in all aspects of finance and accounting at Utz. Mr. Thompson joins the company from Armstrong Flooring, where he was most recently chief financial officer. His previous work experience also includes times at PepsiCo, Chobani, Bain & Company, Goldman Sachs and KPMG.
