DanoneWave expanding plant-based beverage facility

RICHMOND, VA. — DanoneWave, the combined business unit of Danone and WhiteWave Foods, plans to invest up to $60 million to expand its plant-based beverage manufacturing operation in Mount Crawford, Va.

The Commonwealth is proud that our existing businesses continue to reinvest and expand their global footprints from Virginia, and we are honored to boast DanoneWave on our corporate roster.”

The project will add production capacity and expand warehouse space at the plant, DanoneWave said, as well as create up to 49 new jobs. The facility currently employs more than 500.
