RICHMOND, VA. — Inspired by growing consumer demand for plant-based and vegan foods, Sabra Dipping Co. is launching a new hummus variety featuring jackfruit, a Southeast Asian tree fruit with a texture likened to pulled pork.

Sabra’s new Sweet & Smoky BBQ Hummus with Jackfruit and Smoked Paprika features a blend of Sabra’s classic hummus recipe with smoked paprika and a garnish of shredded barbecue jackfruit. Delivering 2 grams of protein per serving, the product is gluten-free, kosher, vegan and Non-GMO Project verified.
