STAMFORD, CONN. — Yumi Clevenger-Lee has been named vice-president and chief marketing officer of Nestle Waters North America. Most recently, she was marketing director, Latin America region, for Cereal Partners Worldwide, a joint venture between General Mills and Nestle to manufacture and market cereal globally in more than 120 markets.

In her new role, Ms. Clevenger-Lee will lead Nestle Waters North America marketing operations in the United States and will report to Fernando Mercé, president and chief executive officer. She replaces Antonio Sciuto, who has left Nestle Waters North America to pursue other opportunities.

“I am delighted that Yumi will be joining the NWNA team,” Mr. Mercé said. “I am confident that her passion for consumers and proven track record of putting them at the heart of new product and campaign development will help us to further our leadership position in the bottled water industry.”

Ms. Clevenger-Lee began her career with Nestle in 2013, leading the Vevey, Switzerland-based global innovation team for Cereal Partners Worldwide. Earlier she held various marketing positions at General Mills. She has a bachelor of science degree and bachelor of arts degree in business and international studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

“This is an exciting time for the bottled water industry as consumer demand for healthy products is stronger than ever,” Ms. Clevenger-Lee said. “I’m looking forward to driving the growth of NWNA’s strong legacy brands that consumers know and love, as well as identifying untapped areas of innovation to bring exciting new products to our portfolio.”
