KANSAS CITY — Consumer packaged goods manufacturers are offering innovative ways for consumers to enjoy the classic combination of peanut butter and jelly.

Hormel Foods Corp. is debuting new Skippy P.B. & Jelly Minis in the frozen aisle. The bite-size buns are filled with Skippy peanut butter and grape or strawberry jelly. Varieties include white bakery bread or whole grain bakery bread made with a special blend of doughs to create a soft texture, according to the company.

"We know that consumers continue to look for more and more ways to find easy protein solutions for snacking and quick meals on-the-go,” said Jennesa Kinscher, brand manager at Hormel Foods. “With the launch of Skippy P.B. & Jelly Minis, peanut butter and jelly lovers everywhere now have another way to enjoy the classic PB&J in a fun and convenient way.”

The dynamic duo is featured in Bobo’s new Stuff’d Oat Bites. The snack-size oat bars are baked with whole grain oats and filled with organic fruit jam. The gluten-free, vegan and non-G.M.O. snacks are available in apple pie and peanut butter and jelly flavors.

"I've always wanted our PB&J and Apple Pie bites to replicate the taste and texture kids expect from a homemade PB&J sandwich or fresh Apple Pie," said Beryl Stafford, founder and president of Bobo’s. "These new Stuff’d oatmeal bites allow us to give consumers a delicious jam center inside of the oat bar crust they already love!"
