AUBURN, Ky. – Champion Petfoods has introduced two new flavors and revamped three existing formulas in their ACANA Singles dog food line to provide more options to dogs with food sensitivities. These five dog foods are formulated with single-animal proteins, prepared with regionally sourced ingredients and contain 60% meat.

The two new flavors are turkey and greens and beef and pumpkin. Champion’s three enhanced flavors, lamb and apple, pork and squash, and duck and pear, were reformulated to include 10% more meat, less carbohydrates and a shorter ingredient panel.

“It’s important that dogs receive a biologically appropriate, protein-rich diet, including those with dietary restrictions. By expanding our ACANA Singles line, we’re providing pet lovers a greater variety of delicious flavors that are formulated to support their dog’s dietary requirements, while remaining respectful of their evolutionary needs,” said Julie S. Washington, chief marketing officer at Champion Petfoods.

Champion Petfoods was founded in Barrhead, Alberta, and exports its products to 85 countries worldwide. Its mission is to create biologically appropriate pet foods using fresh regional ingredients in its own kitchens.
