COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M University will host its 29th annual practical short course on feeds and pet food extrusion Feb. 3-8, 2019.

The program is geared toward training production personnel in extrusion principles, reviewing current best practices for pet food and feed preparation, and demonstrating equipment operation and practical application of extrusion technology. Topics to be covered include formulating natural pet foods, palatability, alternative ingredients for pet foods, grinding solutions, bulk material handling and more.
