KANSAS CITY — Peppermint is popping in new restaurant offerings celebrating the holiday season. The merry mint adds festive flavor to milkshakes, muffins and more on menus.

Chick-fil-A is shaking up its dessert offerings for the holidays with the new Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake. Spun with vanilla soft serve ice cream, peppermint and chocolate chips, the shake is topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

The Double Chocolate Peppermint Muffin has landed in the bakery case at Einstein Bros. Bagels. The chocolate muffin is baked with chocolate chips and is topped with a drizzle of icing and a sprinkling of candy cane pieces.

Blast Fast-Fire’d Pizza is introducing the Peppermint S’more Pie. The seasonal dessert features melted milk chocolate and marshmallow sandwiched between two dark chocolate graham cracker cookies that are sprinkled with crushed peppermint.

New at Caribou Coffee is the Ho Ho Mint Mocha, featuring a classic latte with mint and vanilla syrups all topped with whipped cream, white chocolate chips and crushed candy cane pieces.
