DALLAS — Jason Monaco has been named chief financial officer for Borden Dairy Co., effective immediately.

Mr. Monaco joins Borden from Celanese Corp., where he was most recently vice-president of finance and group c.f.o. Before that, he was vice-president and treasurer at Arrow Electronics. Previously, he spent 16 years at Kimberly-Clark in various finance leadership roles, including vice-president of finance, c.f.o. of Latin America and senior financial analyst.

“Jason is a seasoned finance executive with a strong track record of driving business results and developing a winning culture on his teams,” said Tony Sarsam, chief executive officer of Borden. “Jason’s experience in the consumer packaged goods industry gives him the sector-specific expertise that our finance team will need to drive Borden’s growth strategy in the years to come. We are proud to welcome him to Borden to lead one of the company’s most critical business functions.”

Mr. Monaco is the tenth senior leader hired at Borden since Mr. Sarsam took the helm of the company in March.
